Abstract

O estudo trata da cadeia produtiva do caranguejo, suas dinâmicas e a contribuição a partir da prática contábil para os atores sociais e instituições presentes nos territórios tradicionais do estado do Pará. Ainda, trás a luz a importância do profissional contábil e sua contribuição para elucidar questões socioeconômicas presentes no cotidiano de trabalho do pescador. Além de retratar a importância de novos estudos e o aprimoramento da extensão universitária como ferramenta de enfrentamento das adversidades amazônicas e sua contribuição para formação integrativa entre discentes, docentes e a comunidade em geral.
