Anã Lise Da Oferta De Urucum Na Regiãƒo Norte

Abstract

O urucum é uma importante fonte de matéria-prima na indústria alimentar brasileira, tendo uma representação de aproximadamente 90% do mercado de corantes naturais. A região Norte está entre as três regiões que mais se sobressaem na produção de urucum. Nesse cenário, o objetivo do presente trabalho foi analisar as características da oferta do urucum na região Norte, evidenciando as implicações nas mudanças dos preços e da quantidade produzida no período de 1994 a 2014, por meio de um modelo matemático para analisar as respostas nas quantidades ofertadas do produto às variações no preço do produto. Como resultado, o modelo determinou que o preço do urucum é diretamente proporcional à quantidade produzida, comprovando assim, a teoria elementar da oferta.
