Abstract

en los meses recientes, el peso mexicano ha tenido una fuerte depreciación con relación al dólar estadounidense. Las causas se atribuyen sobre todo a fenómenos externos a la economía mexicana, así como a la especulación que provoca una alta volatilidad. Sin embargo, sin restar importancia a estos aspectos, es necesario analizar en este periodo el comportamiento de la inflación y las exportaciones mexicanas, sobre todo las referidas al petróleo, con la finalidad de buscar alguna relación con la depreciación del tipo de cambio del peso mexicano.
