Abstract

La falta de preparación en el arte de la comunicación y el mal manejo de las relaciones interpersonales de los nuevos profesionales, no les permite proyectarse con el éxito o reconocimiento que su formación técnica merece. Dicho de otro modo, dominan conocimientos actualizados e importantes relacionados a sus carreras, pero no complementan estos con habilidades personales propias de los líderes empresariales. Por lo tanto, para poder tener éxito en este mundo globalizado y altamente competitivo, un profesional necesita dominar las competencias del Marketing Personal. Estas competencias le permiten al individuo transformarse en un profesional emprendedor, quien además de los conocimientos de su profesión sabe cómo relacionarse con la sociedad en que se desenvuelve, con su entorno, y cómo promocionar sus servicios.
