Propuesta para autoevaluar la gestión económica financiera en instituciones de educación superior

Abstract

En el presente artículo se expone una propuesta para la autoevaluación de la Gestión Económica Financiera (GEF) con fines de acreditación en Instituciones de Educación Superior. La concepción teórica en que se sustenta la propuesta, se corresponde plenamente con el reglamento establecido para la evaluación externa del Sistema de Evaluación y Acreditación de la Gestión Económico Financiera (SEAGEF). Las herramientas propuestas para el diagnóstico abarcan cuatro variables: aseguramiento a los procesos sustantivos, aseguramiento a la Residencia Estudiantil, aseguramiento a la vitalidad de la institución y los Recursos en la GEF. La estructuración de estrategias y acciones resultantes de la aplicación realizada en la Universidad de Holguín permiten la mejora continua del sistema de GEF al eliminar las principales dificultades que afectan las condiciones de estudio, trabajo y vida constituyendo un instrumento de indiscutible valor para la dirección de la Universidad.
