Actividad emprendedora en México y sus retos

Abstract

Desde el siglo XX ha existido particular interés por estudiar y entender el papel del emprendedor; esto, debido a que el emprendedor beneficia a la economía de un país. Muchas naciones han modificado sus políticas públicas con la finalidad incentivar y mejorar el ecosistema empresarial. En los últimos años México ha llevado a cabo una serie de cambios referente a las instituciones responsables de fortalecer la cultura emprendedora, los programas de financiamiento para la creación de nuevas empresas y la creación de una cultura emprendedora, entre otros. En este artículo, en primera instancia se revisarán los conceptos de emprendedor y sus contribuciones, posteriormente se presentará una remembranza histórica, así como la situación actual respecto a la actividad emprendedora en México. También serán descritos los factores que inhiben y motivan las actividades emprendedoras y las acciones que apoyan el ecosistema emprendedor. Finalmente, se mencionan algunas recomendaciones hechas por algunos organismos.
