Estructura agraria, evolución del sector agrícola y crisis en el campo mexicano

Abstract

En este trabajo se describen las etapas que ha experimentado el campo mexicano en relación con los modelos de desarrollo implantados en el país y se plantea que la crisis actual por la que atraviesa no sólo se ha agudizado como consecuencia del proceso de liberación comercial promovido por el modelo neoliberal y la firma del Tratado de Libre Comercio de América del Norte TLCAN, sino que también tiene antecedentes históricos previos y que forman parte del ajuste estructural que desde décadas pasadas privilegió el sector urbano industrial en detrimento del sector rural.
