Cultura da segurança do trabalho em uma empresa de transporte coletivo urbano de Santa Maria – RS

Abstract

Este artigo tem por objetivo identificar e analisar a opinião dos funcionários de uma empresa de transporte coletivo urbano localizada na cidade brasileira de Santa Maria – RS, quanto a questão da cultura da segurança do trabalho na empresa. Para alcançar tal objetivo o estudo é caracterizado como um estudo de caso descritivo e quantitativo de natureza exploratória e baseia-se no modelo de Cooper (2000) a fim de identificar questões como clima, comportamento e sistema de segurança da empresa. O principal ponto positivo da pesquisa é o fato de os funcionários sentirem orgulho de trabalhar com segurança e sempre buscarem ajudar seus demais companheiros de profissão a trabalharem com segurança. Como único ponto negativo destacou-se a questão do acidente causado por ato inseguro e que para isso, ao invés de buscar-se o que se motivou o ato inseguro são levantados os culpados pelo acidente.
