Abstract

El artículo ofrece un análisis de la estrategia de desarrollo económico y social de Cuba entre 1989-2005, mostrando los cambios en las políticas económicas y sociales y la continuidad en las estrategias a partir de los valores presentes en el pensamiento económico y social cubano desde José Martí y Pérez a la actualidad. Lo novedoso del estudio, a diferencia del análisis realizado por Amartya Sen, es la vinculación de la Ética y la Economía a partir de las estrategias de desarrollo y de las políticas, y no en tanto que disciplinas científicas o docentes.
