El Análisis De Componentes Principales Aplicado A La Revisión De Los Estados Financieros De Las Empresas Del Indice Habita De La Bolsa Mexicana De Valores

Abstract

En este trabajo se aborda el uso del análisis de componentes principales (ACP) para reducir el número de variables involucradas en el análisis de los estados financieros, utilizando como caso particular los estados financieros al 31 de diciembre de 2010 de las seis empresas del sector vivienda y que componente el índice sectorial Habita (IH) de la Bolsa Mexicana de Valores (BMV). Mediante el ACP se obtuvieron cinco componentes de los cuales se seleccionaron cuatro que explicaban el 94.22% de la varianza total. Esto permitió determinar que las medidas financieras relacionadas con la rentabilidad, el apalancamiento y el periodo de las cuentas por cobrar son las de mayor representatividad para el análisis financiero.
