Evolução Patrimonial E Análise Financeira: Um Estudo Aplicado Ao Setor Siderúrgico - Gerdau S/A

Abstract

O setor siderúrgico que é um setor estratégico responsável em geração de riqueza busca recuperação diante de um senário de crise econômica mundial iniciada no final de 2008. Deste modo o presente artigo busca analisar o desempenho financeiro da Gerdau, um empresa do setor, através de índices financeiros com liquidez, atividade e lucratividade, a análise se dá no período que antecede a crise (2007) até 2011. A avaliação financeira foi realizada a parti da demonstração de resultados e exercícios (D.R.E) e do balanço patrimonial da empresa. Desta forma, chegou-se a um resultado desfavorável para a Gerdau, pois a maioria dos índices a empresa apresentou desempenho insuficiente, sobre tudo nos índices de lucratividade pode-se perceber que a empresa vem sofrendo reduções dos lucros sobre as vendas, portanto à empresa sofreu grandes perdas devido crise econômica mundial no final de 2008, e não conseguiu se recuperar nos anos que subsequentes.
