Modelos Y Premios De Excelencia. Apreciación Sobre Su Organización Y Aplicación En Una Provincia Cubana

Abstract

La institución y el otorgamiento de Premios de la Calidad han devenido práctica internacional que favorece la excelencia en la gestión de las organizaciones para lograr con eficacia, eficiencia y la competitividad de los resultados y lograr un reconocimiento formal y público a empresas destacadas por sus modelos de gestión integralmente avanzados. En Cuba se otorga desde 1999 el Premio Nacional a la Calidad de la República de Cuba. Este movimiento se ha generalizado por todo el país mediante la institución de Premios Provinciales de Calidad. El presente trabajo presenta una valoración preliminar sobre la organización y aplicación de esta experiencia en la provincia de Holguín, Cuba, su procedimiento de evaluación y otorgamiento, los criterios de evaluación y resultados obtenidos.
