Estrategias De La Industria Tabacalera En México Ante La Aplicación De Nuevas Leyes De Consumo Y Producción

Abstract

A partir de la creación del Convenio Marco de la Organización Mundial de la Salud para el Control de Tabaco (CMCT OMS), y firmado por nuestro país en el 2004, la industria tabacalera ha sido afectada completamente ya que este convenio tiene como fin mejorar la calidad de la salud de la población mundial, fomentando la reducción de su demanda por parte del consumidor, además de cuestiones relacionadas con el suministro. Por lo tanto las compañías productoras de tabaco se han visto en la necesidad de implementar nuevas estrategias de competencia para seguir en mercado. Teniendo que modificar desde su imagen en la presentación del producto, disminuir los costos, y afrontar las diferentes leyes fiscales y normativas de salud que lesionan su crecimiento.
