Abstract

El presente artículo aborda los conceptos relacionados con el Ordenamiento Territorial, las políticas que este asume, así como la influencia que tiene para impulsar el desarrollo local endógeno para lo cual se tiene en cuenta el criterio de autores internacionales en el contexto Europeo y de América Latina y el Caribe. De igual forma se hace un abordaje acerca de la práctica en los estudios de Ordenamiento Territorial para el caso cubano y específicamente la experiencia llevada a cabo en la provincia de Cienfuegos con el proyecto de la Ciudad Nuclear.
