    Abstract

    Las economías emergentes se han caracterizado por sus procesos de apertura. La competitividad es el eje de la dinámica actual y la productividad es el factor determinante de la competitividad de empresas, industrias y aparatos productivos. A su vez, la productividad está condicionada primordialmente por el ritmo y la dirección de la logística integral. Este planteamiento se aplica a la pequeña y mediana empresa, pues la aplicación de la logística integral en la pequeña y mediana empresa, incrementa la productividad y la creación de valor en la misma, lo que les permite ser más competitivos en un contexto global. Esta estrategia es especialmente útil en un ambiente cambiante y dinámico, ya que la logística integral, busca el equilibrio de la cadena de valor del negocio y la interacción y operación eficiente de sus áreas operativas. Esta investigación se contrasta en las empresas pequeñas y medianas del sector calzado en la ciudad de León, Guanajuato.
