Propuesta De Una Herramienta Para La Determinación Del Costo De Los Accidentes De Tránsito En Cuba

Abstract

La presente investigación se realiza en un momento en que los accidentes del tránsito se encuentran entre las primeras causas de muerte en el país, por tal motivo se propone el diseño de una herramienta para la determinación del costo de los accidentes del tránsito que sea capaz de recopilar, registrar y analizar toda la información sobre los costos económicos por pérdida de productividad y por el tratamiento de los lesionados, así como los recursos materiales dañados en el acto, para con ello adoptar medidas de seguridad para evitar que se incremente la mortalidad y las lesiones por este concepto y llegar a cuantificar económicamente el costo de los accidentes del tránsito en Cuba, teniendo en cuenta todos los elementos involucrados, tales como: daños materiales que sufren los vehículos y carreteras, costo del tratamiento médico que reciben los lesionados y en gran medida el costo social que genera la muerte de personas que desempeñaban un papel activo como trabajadores dentro de la sociedad.
