El Uso De Biofertilizantes En El Cultivo Del Frijol: Una Alternativa Para La Agricultura Sostenible En Sagua La Grande

Abstract

El trabajo es el resultado de un experimento, realizado por estudiantes y profesores de la Carrera de Agronomía de la FUM de Sagua la Grande en el primer trimestre del año 2011, donde se evaluó la efectividad de biofertilizantes en el cultivo del frijol. Este se realizó en la Finca # 2 de la CPA Triunfo de la Revolución, Sagua la Grande, Villa Clara. Se emplearon semillas de frijol común (Phaseolus vulgaris L.) sobre suelo Sialitizado cálcico. Se utilizó un diseño de bloques al azar, donde se les realizaron evaluaciones a 4 tratamientos. Durante el ciclo del cultivo no se emplearon químicos contra plagas, las malezas fueron controladas con atenciones culturales y se desarrolló en condiciones de riego. Se evaluó el rendimiento a partir del número de legumbres por planta, número de granos por legumbre, peso 100 granos y peso total de los granos. Mediante el software SPSS 15, se realizaron pruebas ANOVA para cada variable y en las que resultaron diferencias significativas, se realizó un test de Duncan para localizar estas diferencias. Con respecto al rendimiento, se constataron diferencias significativas entre las medias del número de vainas por planta para cada tratamiento excepto entre el control y la urea. También resultaron significativas las diferencias entre el número de granos por tratamiento entre el control y Rhizobium y el control y Fitomas. La utilización de Rhizobium constituye una alternativa económica y ecológicamente sustentable para la agricultura en el mejoramiento de los cultivos, los suelos y los ecosistemas en general.
