Abstract

Ante la gran relevancia que han adquirido las ciudades, un estudio detallado de cómo funcionan, se estructuran, desarrollan e incluso decaen se convierte en un elemento fundamental. Sin embargo, casi todos los análisis abordan a la ciudad como si fuera un todo compacto. Por ello este estudio analiza a la ciudad de Aguascalientes a partir de la identificación y caracterización de las distintas áreas en que suele dividirse, desde una perspectiva conceptual denominada Economía de los Lugares.
