Abstract

Uno de los servicios que tiene vital importancia y que realizan los Centros de Información en el Sistema Nacional de Salud Cubano es la Diseminación Selectiva de la Información (DSI), el mismo facilita el desarrollo científico de nuestros profesionales de la salud. El impacto social de las Tecnologías de la Información y el Conocimiento (TIC) en la Sociedad de la Información y el Conocimiento toca muy de cerca a los Centros de Información (CI), por la preocupación de ofrecer un servicio de Diseminación Selectiva de la Información con calidad y que sea capaz de garantizar la información científico-técnica con la eficiencia y eficacia que requieren nuestros usuarios.
