Análisis Del Crecimiento Económico Municipal. El Caso De Río Cauto

Abstract

El presente trabajo tuvo como objetivo fundamental analizar el comportamiento del crecimiento económico del municipio Río Cauto. Para ello fue necesario apoyarse en la determinación del valor agregado bruto territorial y la utilización de las técnicas de análisis regional. En el trabajo se fundamenta teóricamente la necesidad de medir y analizar el crecimiento de la economía municipal. Se consideran los criterios de distintos autores sobre el papel de la cuestión territorial en la economía y sobre el papel del crecimiento económico para el desarrollo. Se hace, además, un análisis crítico del sistema de evaluación actual de la marcha de la economía y se señalan las deficiencias que este presenta para la evaluación de la economía municipal. Para el análisis de los indicadores mencionados se utilizó la información referida a los períodos 2009 y 2010 a precios del 2009, a los cuales se les aplicó las técnicas de análisis regional propuestas y se abordaron un grupo de conclusiones y recomendaciones válidas para la utilización de los resultados aquí planteados y la continuidad de este análisis a nivel municipal.
