Cuba – ALBA-TCP: experiencia y perspectiva. Hacia una nueva concepción de la relación Ciencia y Economía

Abstract

En la segunda mitad del siglo pasado surgen los supuestos teóricos de la nueva economía basada en el conocimiento, la cual asume que las inversiones en la superación del capital humano son fuente de bienestar y contribuyen sustancialmente al crecimiento económico y la productividad. Los resultados concretos de la aplicación del ALBA – TCP han reportado resultados positivos en materia de salud y educación pero sin embargo las economías de los países miembros no han consolidado todavía un proceso de acercamiento y de armonización de políticas que imbriquen las nuevas tendencias del desarrollo relacionadas con una economía basada en el conocimiento.
