La responsabilidad de la inflación en Argentina es de Julio Cobos

    Abstract

    En este artículo se desarrolla una hipótesis explicativa del proceso inflacionario argentino de los últimos años a partir de la tensión existente entre la política de tipo de cambio industrial competitivo y las aspiraciones de ingresos de los asalariados, agudizada por el alza internacional del precio de los alimentos. Se presenta un desarrollo empírico y formal de la hipótesis y se obtiene como conclusión que el voto “no positivo” de Julio Cobos, al permitir el traslado a precios locales de la inflación externa, es el principal responsable de las presiones inflacionarias que se evidencian en la Argentina en los últimos años. También se advierte, que de implementarse el plan económico de los principales candidatos opositores se produciría un fuerte salto inflacionario de dramáticas consecuencias económicas y sociales.
