Análisis por edades de las cuentas por cobrar en la Empresa Provincial de Mantenimiento y Construcción de Las Tunas

Abstract

El tema de los cobros constituye un aspecto esencial en la política económica financiera del país, ello demanda que las empresas orienten sus esfuerzos hacia la búsqueda de mecanismos que posibiliten la elevación de sus resultados. Es por ello que el presente trabajo se realizó en la Empresa Provincial de Mantenimiento y Construcción de Las Tunas con la finalidad de analizar por edades las cuentas por cobrar a corto plazo y su incidencia en la gestión de cobros. A través del diagnóstico realizado se constató que la entidad presenta insuficiencias en la gestión de cobros que afectan su solvencia económica para cubrir sus deudas. El aporte del trabajo constituye una valiosa herramienta para la toma de decisiones, pues suministra información relevante sobre la tendencia de las cuentas por cobrar.
