Abstract

La aplicación de la política económica neoliberal con la finalidad de atenuar la crisis estructural del sistema social vigente fracasó porque no resolvió la causa generadora de su crisis consistente en la contradicción que existe entre las fuerzas productivas y las relaciones de producción. Permitió la concentración de la riqueza pero agudizó la carencia de mercados de consumo con valor adquisitivo a consecuencia de las políticas expresadas en la dolarización de la economía, la libertad de precios, el congelamiento de sueldos, etc., impuestas por el FMI y el BM, dirigidas a descargar las obligaciones de los Estados (educación, salud, etc.) sobre la población laboral y las mayorías nacionales.
