Situación actual de los alimentos en México

Abstract

Los alimentos son un bien necesario cuyo consumo aumenta menos deprisa que el ingreso, para llegar a esta afirmación se han hecho comparaciones a nivel internacional las cuales muestran que en promedio, los individuos de los países menos desarrollados gastan en alimentos un porcentaje mayor de su ingreso que los individuos de las economías industriales, el porcentaje del ingreso que se destina al gasto en alimentos también tiende a disminuir con el paso del tiempo a medida que aumenta el ingreso (Nicholson,2002:90)
