Abstract

El desarrollo del conocimiento, separado de la religión, impulsado por los representantes de la burguesía naciente que elaboraron la ideología liberal con el fin de constituir una clase social solida, dio origen al renacimiento (s. IX – XVII). Periodo histórico en él que se gestó un movimiento intelectual crítico - sustentado en la razón humana (racionalismo) contraria a la razón divina defendida por la iglesia - denominado “Ilustración” o “iluminismo” que produjo una revolución cultural (política, artística, etc.) que influyó en el desarrollo del conocimiento en Europa y el mundo.
