Abstract

Se aborda la auditoría de información como práctica de la gestión de información establecida en las organizaciones y los beneficios que conlleva la utilización de la misma. Sobre la base del análisis de una metodología aplicada anteriormente en la Universidad de Pinar del Río (UPR) en un proceso de auditoría de información y los problemas encontrados en su viabilidad, se realiza un diagnóstico a la gestión de información en el Centro de Estudios de Ciencias de la Educación Superior (CECES) de la UPR para la obtención de evidencias para realizar una propuesta metodológica al CECES que le permita identificar la información que corresponde a los criterios de la auditoría de información con la finalidad de viabilizar este proceso en dicha organización.
