Aprovechamiento Del Mármol En Santa Maria Yucuhiti

Abstract

Este trabajo presenta resultados de investigación sobre el aprovechamiento del mármol para elaborar artículos artesanales en Santa María Yucuhiti, Oaxaca. Es un proyecto que desarrolla una propuesta integral en la que participan de manera multidisciplinaria investigadores de la Universidad Tecnológica de la Mixteca, autoridades del Municipio y la Secretaría de Desarrollo Social. En el municipio viven, aproximadamente, siete mil habitantes; posee recursos naturales aprovechables y con potencial económico, sin embargo, en el contexto nacional se encuentra clasificado entre los municipios con alta marginación. Esta paradoja conduce a estudiar cuidadosamente algunos indicadores de organización y desarrollo en una perspectiva social y económica. A partir de allí se elabora la propuesta integral que aquí se presenta.
