El Sector Externo Y Su Incidencia En La Ocupación En Colombia 1985-2006

Abstract

A través del tiempo el empleo ha sido y sigue siendo una preocupación fundamental de todos los gobiernos y de todos los países. La mayoría de estudios realizados en el país lo asocian con el comportamiento de la inflación y el ingreso. Muy poco se ha explorado su relación con las actividades de comercio exterior, razón por la cual la autora emprendió una investigación que se fijó como propósito realizar mediante un modelo econométrico de regresión, la validación empírica del impacto que sobre la ocupación nacional han tenido las siguientes actividades relacionadas con el sector externo: exportaciones (X), importaciones (M), exportaciones netas (XN) e Inversión extranjera directa (IED). En el presente artículo, se hace una síntesis de los principales aspectos tratados en la investigación mencionada.
