Abstract

Este trabajo de investigación se ubica en los análisis de la industria manufacturera mexicana, que evalúan los beneficios y las consecuencias del proceso de apertura y liberalización de la economía en términos de mejora en la competitividad sectorial, la generación de empleo y una mayor vinculación entre actividades industriales. El interés esencial de esta investigación se orienta al estudio de la concentración de la industria de Alimentos, Bebidas y Tabaco, así como el impacto que este proceso ha causado en el empleo, fue seleccionada porque se trata de una de las principales industrias de un total de nueve que conforman al sector manufacturero.
