Seguindo a trilha de nosso texto anterior, podemos afirmar que a Bioética consiste na abordagem crítica de assuntos relacionados com a vida. Como bem sabemos, cabe à ética, o estudo de diversas teorias do bem ao longo da história e do agir humano. A Bioética tem suas origens na ética, cresce e se desenvolve orientada para os problemas da vida. Tendo em conta essa posição, pretendemos em breves linhas, situarmos no Rio Grande do Sul o interesse nesta área ainda prematura nas suas reflexões.
