La Producción De Granos: Estratégia De Diversificación En La Agricultura Cubana Actual

Abstract

Ante el umbral del nuevo milenio es casi obligado hacer un análisis de lo que ha sucedido y de lo que se puede lograr en la actualidad. Es necesario conocer y valorar la agricultura como parte importante de la economía. Se fundamenta la autenticidad del pensamiento agrario y la necesidad de buscar alternativas de producción nacional. La novedad del mismo radica en la práctica de la diversificación agrícola en Cuba y la inserción en la estrategia actual de los cultivos de granos. En este sentido las características productivas de las semillas de granos se presentan como una alternativa para un desarrollo agrícola sustentable. Por la importancia y la necesidad de contribuir a la diversificación de los cultivos de granos, elevar el nivel tecnológico de su producción e incrementar sus rendimientos productivos, se presupone lograr aportes considerables en la reanimación del consumo interno.
