Abstract

El TLCAN significó para los países del Asia Pacífico aumento en la competencia con México por la atracción de la IED, lo que vino a cambiar los patrones comerciales y de IED en la región, dando lugar a desviación comercial, la que se tradujo en incremento en los flujos de comercio interregionales y a una marcada alineación comercial; los países del sudeste asiático a la Unión Europea (EU) y los del Noreste con Estados Unidos.
