Abstract

La Imagen constituye una variable esencial para lograr la eficiencia y elevar al valor económico de cualquier empresa u organización, por tanto se hace imprescindible tenerla en cuenta cuando se habla del Comercio Minorista de Bienes, sector que se caracteriza por un elevado dinamismo y que presenta en nuestro país sus peculiaridades. Estudiar la Imagen no solo en base a su percepción general por parte del consumidor con respecto a un punto de venta, sino también en cuanto a sus dimensiones y atributos y confrontarla con lo que quiere lograr la entidad permite ver hasta donde se ha llegado y que se puede hacer para mejorar la misma y con ella elevar la rentabilidad de la empresa, puesto que influye en la satisfacción y el incremento del nivel y calidad de vida de la sociedad en general.
