Desarrollo sustentable y pobreza

Abstract

En la actualidad se aprecia que el desarrollo de unas naciones depende necesariamente del subdesarrollo de otras naciones, - por cierto, la mayoría- por su diminuto nivel de crecimiento económico lo cual acarrea deformaciones tanto en la estructura productiva como en el tejido social, es decir tanto en la forma de obtener los recursos necesarios como en la cosmovisión de la sociedad en relación con esta forma de obtener estos recursos. Dicho, en otros términos, se ha llegado a un punto sin retorno en el cual solo hay dos caminos: hacia la riqueza o hacia la pobreza. Aunque se ha modificado el esquema de clasificación del mundo de acuerdo a su nivel de desarrollo, sigue prevaleciendo salvo algunas consideraciones el término primer mundo asumiendo que se refiere a aquellos países con un grado de bienestar para su población y medio ambiente en lo general.
