Evaluación de las actuaciones de Gestión Ambiental, Paisajística y Turística del Parque Regional de La Sierra del Carche (Murcia, SE España)

Abstract

El Parque Regional de la Sierra del Carche abarca una superficie de .942,44 ha dentro de los municipios de Jumilla y Yecla. El objetivo es analizar las actuaciones de gestión, conservación y mejora turística realizadas por la administración regional. Se han consultado memorias de gestión, Plan de Ordenación, informes y diversas publicaciones. El resultado es de una veintena de trabajadores, con una inversión entre unos 400-650 mil euros anuales de mantenimiento y limpieza, prevención selvícola, defensa de incendios, conservación del patrimonio natural, defensa del medio, equipamiento y uso público. En un entorno con escaso desarrollo de actividades turísticas, deportivas, educativas, etc. en las que participan más de mil personas y unas actividades económicas tradicionales de recolección de esparto, apícola y ganadera, en una sierra dominada por tres alineaciones montañosas con pequeñas lomas comunicadas entre sí y un entorno de cultivos leñosos de secano y un incipiente regadío.
