Balance energético de las Mipymes del sector manufacturero de la provincia de Imbabura - Ecuador

Abstract

El presente trabajo detalla el balance energético de una Micro, Pequeñas y Medianas Empresas manufactureras de la provincia de Imbabura – Ecuador. La idea nace a partir de un proyecto de investigación orientado a la Propuesta de estrategias y/o alternativas para el mejoramiento de la productividad en las empresas de la zona norte de Ecuador. Mediante encuestas y mediciones en equipos y maquinarias de las empresas se generó el balance energético que sirvió para determinar las perdidas energéticas que se producen en el desempeño de funciones de las empresas estudiadas. Las pérdidas de energía se deben principalmente a falta de mantenimiento, equipos obsoletos, carencia de luminarias de bajo consumo y desgaste en el cableado de las instalaciones.
