Abstract

Este artículo titulado “Modelo de articulación universidad y actores territoriales para el desarrollo local de la provincia de Manabí-Ecuador†, tiene como objetivo “Diseñar un modelo de articulación universidad y actores territoriales para el desarrollo local de la provincia de Manabí†; para ello la metodología empleada fue de tipo cuasi-experimental, lo que permitió la aplicación de instrumentos como la entrevista y la encuesta; con lo cual se pudo obtener valiosas conclusiones, entre las cuales se destaca que un nuevo modelo ayudará a concretar un liderazgo territorial donde la universidad, el municipio y los demás actores territoriales propicien una planificación que permita cambios hacia el desarrollo sostenible en el ámbito social del territorio. De la misma forma se detecta que el tema desarrollo local abarca muchos campos y está siendo introducido con énfasis en los programas que presenta el gobierno central, cada uno de ellos orientado con el plan nacional del buen vivir, se destaca también el rol de la cooperación internacional dentro del proceso de desarrollo endógeno.
