La génesis y búsqueda de un concepto único de la agroecología

Abstract

Este artículo tiene como objetivo investigar y analizar diversas concepciones de la ciencia para el concepto de agroecología. A través de revisión de la literatura se llevó a cabo una descripción del origen y los diversos conceptos de agroecología. Se concluyó que el uso de la palabra agroecología se da en el campo de la polisemia, porque se utiliza tanto en referencia a una ciencia como a un paradigma de la agricultura convencional o un curso de la disciplina de la agronomía, es decir, es un concepto que incluye diversas áreas del conocimiento como agronomía, ecología, biología, sociología e también diversas metodologías como análisis comunitario, los estudios de caso y el análisis de sistemas agrícolas de producción sostenible.
