Análisis de las iniciativas de certificaciones socioambientales para la producción de etanol

Abstract

Muchas certificaciones socioambientales han sido propuestas para el sistema productivo de etanol. El presente trabajo propone un método de análisis para comparar certificaciones, teniendo como criterio de análisis a) la demanda ambiental del mercado consumidor de etanol, b) las aspiraciones ambientales de la sociedad civil y c) las buenas prácticas consolidadas internacionalmente para certificaciones socioambientales. Los análisis fueron realizados para tres certificaciones que se destacan em la escena mundial, y, de forma general, apuntan a un mejor desempeño de las iniciativas Bonsucro y RSB.
