Abstract

A energia elétrica a partir de fontes alternativas é uma eficiente saída para atender à crescente demanda pela energia elétrica, além de ser sustentável e poder aumentar a diversidade das matrizes energéticas do Brasil. O presente trabalho faz uma análise de viabilidade da instalação de um sistema fotovoltaico desconectado à rede para suprir à demanda de energia elétrica de uma comunidade com demanda máxima de 100kWp. Serão abordadas duas hipóteses: painéis sem arrefecimento e painéis arrefecidos, a fim de verificar a potência gerada pelo sistema. As análises foram feitas com a ajuda do software Hybrid Optimization Model for Electric Renewables (HOMER) que foi desenvolvido pelo National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL).
