Recuperaciã“N Ambiental Y Bienestar Social En Mã‰Xico: El Caso De Calimaya, Estado De Mã‰Xico

Abstract

En este artículo se analizan los factores ambientales, económicos y socioculturales que han ocasionado impacto ambiental en un territorio del Altiplano Mexicano (Municipio de Calimaya, Estado de México). Se determina que la ejecución de actividades económicas asociadas con la agricultura, la extracción de recursos pétreos, la disposición inadecuada de residuos sólidos orgánicos e inorgánicos y el cambio de uso del suelo para la construcción de viviendas son las causas principales que ocasionan riesgos e impactos ambientales a los elementos físicos, biológicos y socioculturales. Con los resultados obtenidos se han propuesto estrategias precisas, concretas y efectivas que a corto y mediano plazo pueden coadyuvar a la recuperación ambiental de los espacios degradados y fomentar el bienestar social. Se concluye que, la participación de la población y de las dependencias gubernamentales municipales es un factor clave para el éxito de las acciones. Esas actividades pueden fomentar a largo plazo la resiliencia 1 en el territorio.
