El Conflicto Economã A-Ecologã A Y Los Principios Necesarios Para El Desarrollo Econã“Mico Sostenible

Abstract

Por un lado, siguiendo el objetivo básico de la economía neoclásica de un crecimiento económico continuo y acelerado y, por el otro lado, las dos leyes de la termodinámica en que se basa el sistema ecológico, las leyes de la economía, como subsistema del sistema global de la naturaleza, entran en conflicto con las leyes ecológicas. En caso de no remediación, a largo plazo, dada la interacción entre economía y ecología, el continuo agotamiento de los recursos naturales que ejerce el sistema económico y el exceso de emisiones acaban en la insostenibilidad futura del propio sistema económico y del nivel de bienestar correspondiente. Por ello, como solución, el artículo sugiere la necesidad de un cambio de los supuestos económicos para tener en cuenta la dimensión del medio ambiente en las decisiones económicas.
