Perspectivas De Desenvolvimento Local Sustentã Vel Em Alta Floresta/Mt

Abstract

Este artigo tem como objetivo apresentar as percepções de atores sociais locais sobre as perspectivas de desenvolvimento de Alta Floresta, um município localizado na Floresta Amazônica de Mato Grosso, próximo da divida com o estado do Pará. Alta Floresta foi escolhida para este survey em função da sua consolidação como polo microrregional na fronteira setentrional de Mato Grosso, região definida como alvo para a implantação de uma Incubadora de Políticas Públicas da Amazônia (IPPA) naquele estado. Foram convidadas todas as instituições que participam do Conselho Municipal de Desenvolvimento de Alta Floresta. Foram entrevistados 15 atores sociais que compareceram de forma voluntária. Somente uma instituição não enviou representante. Durante três dias foram realizadas reuniões onde cada ator social expôs suas percepções sobre os problemas, entraves e possíveis soluções para o desenvolvimento local de Alta Floresta. Após os registros das percepções de cada ator social, foram listadas 32 questões a serem enfrentadas pela sociedade local. Espera-se que a instalação da IPPA como uma arena de debate reduza a clivagem, eleve a cooperação e seja reforçada a estrutura de governança do desenvolvimento local sustentável de Alta Floresta.
