Abstract

O artigo discute sobre a relação ensino e pesquisa em uma universidade amazônica. A Universidade, inserida neste rico ambiente, deve trazer para o bojo das discussões acadêmicas as diversas situações-problemas existentes na região, por isso, a necessidade de incutir no espaço universitário uma educação ambiental crítica que promova reflexões e ações sobre o cotidiaEno amazônico. A fundamentação está alicerçada em Jacobi (2005), Lima (2009), Loureiro (2004; 2012), Carvalho (1995; 2008), entre outros autores de igual importância na discussão da Educação Ambiental. Para refletir sobre a realidade amazônica houve a articulação do material discutido em sala de aula com a pesquisa in loco que projetava os reflexos da Cheia Amazônica no cotidiano urbano da cidade de Parintins/AM, especialmente sobre as crianças, assim, se articulou as bases de uma Educação Ambiental Crítica no universo acadêmico.
