Autogestión En El Manejo Del Agua En Urireo, Salvatierra, Guanajuato, México

Abstract

Durante las últimas décadas se ha producido un considerable interés sobre la acción colectiva y los componentes organizativos relacionados con la administración y manejo sustentable de los recursos naturales. Alrededor del debate sobre la tragedia de los comunes, se ha planteado que, en muchos casos, los bienes públicos y los recursos de uso común pueden ser gestionados de manera colectiva sin que, por este hecho, se llegue a la degradación ambiental. Este trabajo se sitúa en esta perspectiva y tomando como referencia los principios de diseño organizativo propuestos por Elinor Ostrom, encuentra que la organización de usuarios del Ejido San Juan, Urireo, en el municipio de Salvatierra, Guanajuato cuenta con acuerdos y arreglos colectivos que les han garantizado un adecuado manejo del agua basado en la autogestión.
