Reforestacion De Suelos Improductivos En El Bosque Tropical Humedo. Caso: Comunas Dos Mangas Y San José En Santa Elena Ecuador

Abstract

El presente artículo tiene como objetivo fundamental analizar como los procesos de las actividades humanas han sido la causa principal de la tala agresiva del bosque tropical húmedo en las comunas de Santa Elena – Ecuador, alterando los componentes ambientales, sociales y económicos, aumentando los niveles de pobreza y la migración de los pobladores de esta región de la costa ecuatoriana. La investigación demostró como la asignación de recursos mediante el programa crediticio de incentivos comerciales para la reforestación, aprobado según el acuerdo 502 del Ministerio de Agricultura, Ganadería, Acuacultura y Pesca, generara condiciones adecuadas para mejorar la productividad de las plantaciones forestales. Incluyendo incentivos financieros no reembolsables, asistencia técnica y capacitación permanente, para las comunas, asociaciones y cooperativas de pequeños productores. En la parte final se refiere al proyecto de vinculación y reforestación que la Universidad Tecnológica ECOTEC realiza en las áreas intervenidas del bosque tropical húmedo de las comunas de San José y Dos Mangas.
