La Educación Ambiental Comunitaria En La Acción

Abstract

En el presente artículo presentamos una experiencia de educación ambiental que se despliega en la acción transformadora de una comunidad en la orilla oriente de la Ciudad de México, con la colaboración del Centro de Investigaciones en Diseño Industrial de la Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México. La acción reflexiva de ambos actores sociales, evidencia la necesidad de una educación que se involucre en la solución de los problemas ambientales mediante acciones específicas, por medio de las cuales, los sujetos participantes accedan a niveles más elevados de comprensión teórica de la crisis ambiental y se movilicen para plantear y ejecutar alternativas de solución, creando un círculo virtuoso de reflexión-acción en el que la creatividad, la solidaridad, y la voluntad de cambio contribuyan para la recreación de las prácticas de educación ambiental.
