Principales Cadenas Foresto Industriales De La Patagonia Argentina: Análisis Desde Una Perspectiva Territorial

Abstract

El objetivo fue describir las principales cadenas forestales con objeto de esbozar estrategias que superen los problemas. Se identificaron cadenas en función de la ubicación geográfica y especies forestales dominantes. Los datos provienen de información secundaria, bibliografía, entrevistas a actores y cámaras; adicionalmente se aplicó análisis FODA. Los eslabonamientos hallados fueron: Cadena de salicáceas cuenca del Río Negro, de coníferas implantadas en Neuquén, mixta del Suroeste de Río Negro y Noroeste de Chubut y Cadena de lenga de Tierra del Fuego. El análisis revela la existencia de cadenas aisladas, desarticulación entre eslabones y poca interacción entre ellas; situación que impacta en el desempeño del sistema. A fin de identificar estrategias de desarrollo se concluye que es menester conocer como la sociedad se ubica frente al uso del recurso nativo, la implantación de exóticas o el desarrollo de infraestructura, acciones que al modificar el paisaje aportan crecimiento del producto bruto, mejorando el medio económico. Para marchar al desarrollo sustentable se debe trabajar con comunidades, aplicando principios de Inteligencia territorial.
