Gestión Del Agua Urbana E Industrialización En La Ciudad De Puebla

Abstract

Uno de los temas de actualidad es la problemática relacionada con el manejo y gestión del agua de uso urbano en las grandes ciudades. En esta investigación se proponen algunos referentes teórico-metodológicos para el estudio de la gestión de los servicios de agua potable, alcantarillado y saneamiento; se analiza la forma cómo se han gestionado tales servicios en la ciudad de Puebla; se muestra cómo los procesos de apropiación, distribución y consumo de aquél recurso han sido determinantes históricamente en la configuración económica y social de las ciudades y finalmente se demuestra que el actual modelo de gestión de los servicios de agua potable responde a las necesidades y lógica del modelo de acumulación e industrialización dominante.
